Expectation vs Reality in my love life

"people said: Sometimes, love is not what you get, but it is what you give to someone you love"

I just followed what most people said. Indeed I have not given much material to someone I love, but I have given my heart. In fact, I just like a guy in the picture below.

"Sometimes, we play with Love. But when the time comes and you finally realize that you want to get serious, Love plays with you."

But at least, I still have a principle that;

"Love is when someone doesn't give you what you expected in return and yet you still care for them."
